Parents are still advised to follow the government's guidance on staying at home with their children and limiting social contact as much as possible to reduce the spread of the virus.

The most significant symptoms of coronavirus infection are:

  • a new continuous cough, and/or
  • a high temperature (above 37.8°C)
  • a loss of smell or taste
  • a feeling of breathlessness
If children or adults develop either of these symptoms, they should be kept at home for a period of 10 days from the onset of the symptoms.

Siblings and other family members are also advised to self-isolate.

Full details are available here.
If a member of the household has vulnerabilities or pre-existing medical conditions, parents should assess their individual circumstances and will likely want to self-isolate themsleves and their children.
Children's attendance, for both individuals and family groups in self-isolation, has been marked as authorised for 'exceptional circumstances'.
Many school events, activities, visitors and lettings remain 'on hold' until further notice.  Contact the school office for any enquiries.

We will continue to publish and make available a range of distance learning resources via our school website and other platforms throughout and in the event of further local restrictions and/or school closures.

Staff will continue to maintain regular contact with parents both during and after full or partial school closures.  Please contact the school office by email or social media messaging if you have any questions or concerns.

Any further available information will be provided on our website as and when it is available. Up-to-date information on the actions taken by Public Health England are available on their website.
